Thibault Kassir named Maxwell Technologies VP and GM

Maxwell Technologies appointed Thibault Kassir as Vice President and General Manager, Energy Storage Products. Kassir will oversee Maxwell’s global energy storage product line, tasked to build on recent momentum and to drive future growth.

Kassir’s expertise over 24 years of business and technical knowledge combined with considerable experience in Asia, including engineering leadership and management, new product development, sales and business development, innovation and business growth. His background includes several roles at On Semiconductor where, as Director and GM, he maintained full P&L responsibility for all product and technology creation. Most recently, he served as VP, Product Management, Consumer Division at Knowles Corporation where he grew revenues to exceed $600 million.

Mr. Kassir holds a MSE in Microelectronics and Automated Control Systems from the Institut National Polytechnique in Toulouse, France and an MBA in Marketing and Corporate Finance from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
