TerniEnergia and STEG signed contract for 320 Mw pipeline in Tunisia

TerniEnergia and STEG ( Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz) signed contract worth $ 12.5 Million for the construction in Tunisia of an industrial scale photovoltaic plant for a total capacity of 10 MWp.

This is the first PV plant of utility scale to be built in Tunisia as part of a government pipeline for a total of 1 billion USD and with a total capacity of 1 GW, promoted by Selon Climate Action, the Directorate General for Energy of the Tunisian Ministry of Energy and Mining, which involves the installation of 320 MW of plants within STEG and 680 MW promoted and developed by private investors. he partnership between STEG and TerniEnergia also include providing training program for staff and technicians of the same STEG.
