Origis Energy USA and Red Creek Improvement pronounce a 50 MWAC Solar Project

A Power Purchase Agreement for a 50MWAC Solar project is set to be undertaken by Origis Energy USA and Red Creek Improvement for construction in Florida. The solar facility is set to generate approximately 120,000 MW hours of power annually hence offering clean energy to the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

John Classe, District Administrator of the Reedy Creek Improvement District said “We’re excited to begin work on a new solar facility as part of our ongoing responsibility to oversee land use and environmental protections within the district.”

The solar facility will be located on approximately 270 acres in Orange County, Florida. The Origis Energy designs utilize single axis tracking technology, approximately 518,000 solar panel modules and will interconnect to the Reedy Creek Improvement District power distribution system.  The project is likely to commence in by late spring in 2018 and be completed by year end 2018.
