Nordex secured a contract of 65 AW125/3000 wind turbines in Brazil

Nordex group has secured contract for delivery of 65 AW125/3000 wind turbines for “Lagoa do Barro” project. The project is composed of 8 individual wind farms located in the state of Piaui in North- eastern Brazil.

The wind power systems are to be delivered and installed from mid-2017. The turbines are designed to make optimum use of the high wind speeds to achieve an average capacity factor of around 58%.
