Niall Stuart to leave Scottish Renewables

Niall Stuart the Chief Executive of Scottish Renewables has announced that he will leave the organization in August. He said that he had greatly enjoyed his time with Scottish Renewables and it is clear that they have all achieved a huge amount over the last seven years.

Chairman of Scottish Renewables, Patricia Hawthorn said that Niall has led their staff team during an incredibly important time for their sector, and played a leading role in their work to deliver ever-more ambitious targets for the industry – and the policies to deliver these. He further added that the search for Mr Stuart successor will start in the next few weeks.

Mr Stuart has been on this position since September 2009 and now he plans to set up his own consultancy focused on strategic communications, policy development and regulatory affairs.
