MHI Vestas opens new office in Warrington widening UK footprint

In a bid to extend support to the offshore wind park, MHI Vestas plans to open a new office in Warrington, the latest addition to offshore wind’s historic rise ensuring dedicated wind park support for years to come. Will incorporate 22 offshore wind experts in the areas of service, construction, health, safety and quality assurance.

MHI Vestas Chief Operating Officer, Flemming Ougaard, said, “The opening of MHI Vestas’ new office in Warrington marks a milestone for our company as we establish our own unique identity and culture. The office, strategically located in Cheshire, will be our largest administrative center in the UK and will support all of our UK projects. The UK has witnessed the strong evolution of offshore wind supplemented by cost- effective rates in the September 2017 contract for different auction round. The auction was a testimony to the point that offshore wind energy in the UK is now inexpensive.
