Berkshire Hathway Energy and Citi to invest in Goldwind 160MW Rattle snake project

MidAmerican Wind Tax Equity Holdings (Berkshire hathway Energy subsidiary ) and CITI will invest in Goldwind (Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology) 160MW Rattle snake project located in McCulloch County,Texas.

Rattlesanke Wind project is $250 Million project, utilizing 64 Goldwind GW 109/2.5MW PMDD wind turbines. Once Operational it will be Goldsmith largest wind project in US till date.

Goldwind Chairman, Wu Gang said that they are very pleased to partner with world-class institutions Berkshire Hathaway Energy and Citi on this innovative and breakthrough deal. Their support is a testament to the performance and realibity of Goldwind’s Permanent Magnet Direct Drive (PMDD) wind turbine technology, with its industry-leading availability.
