BELECTRIC builds 30MW Ashalim PV plant in Israel

BELECTRIC has built Ashalim PV plant located in the Israli Negev Desert possessing a 30 MW installed capacity as Engineering-Procurement-Construction provider on the behalf of  EDF EN Israel. Ashalim PV  plant was connected to the grid in December 2017 itself.

Ingo Alphéus, CEO of BELECTRIC Solar & Battery GmbH said “We were delighted to have been selected as EPC partner for this important project.”

The new Ashalim PV plant is part of a utility-scale solar project combining solar thermal and photovoltaic energy. The project set to provide 250 Megawatt of electricity.

Guy Shahar, Managing Director of BELECTRIC Israel Ltd. said “We are proud to contribute to the large scale solar project Ashalim. It marks an important step to provide clean and grid-friendly electricity to Israel and help the country to reach their ambitious renewables energy targets.”
